Daniel Cook, Founder
Daniel Cook, CFP®
Daniel Cook has worked in the financial services industry since 1983. He is currently Vice President and Treasurer of Summit Wealth Group. Prior to joining Summit Wealth Group, Dan owned and operated Cook Financial Associates, a wealth management and tax consulting firm. With the merger, Cook Financial has changed its name to Summit Accounting Solutions, and Dan continues to serve as President of this wholly-owned subsidiary. Dan is also an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network. Summit Accounting Solutions (SAS) specializes in providing business management advice and services to the dental industry. Dan is a recurring speaker at dental associations and conferences, and SAS is a recognized leader in providing dentists with a competitive advantage through the expertise and innovation offered by SAS. Dan is a graduate of the College for Financial Planning, attended the Executive MBA program at the University of Denver and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics. Along with his prestigious education, Dan has obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and several investment and insurance licensing registrations. In addition Dan is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®. Dan has served his community on numerous civic and non-profit boards including the Douglas County DARE Foundation, the Douglas County 4-H Foundation and Rocky Mountain District Kiwanis Foundation. He is a member of the South Metro Denver Economic Development Group and founding member of the Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce. He and his wife Denise are proud parents of three children and active in their parish church. They regularly participate in charity cycling events and enjoy riding and traveling with the Colorado Tandem Club.

Denise Cook, Customer Relationship Manager
Denise Cook has joined Summit Accounting Solutions as a Customer Relationship Manager, focusing on clients in the dental industry. She has more than 11 years of experience in dental practice management, most recently serving as business manager for a large dental practice. Denise received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting. She also has taken numerous advanced courses in dental practice management.
Courtney Everitt
Courtney Everitt
Courtney Everitt handles all the many, many details of managing payroll for the clients at Summit Accounting Solutions. Her skills at organization and information management make her a natural in the area of processing payroll and handling all the different payroll taxes. A Colorado native, Courtney’s family moved her to Seattle for a few years, then the draw of the mountains and sunshine brought them back to Colorado. She graduated from Thunder Ridge High School in Highlands Ranch and holds an Associate Degree in Accounting from Arapahoe Community College. She recently married her firefighter husband, Tyler and they live in Parker, Colorado. Weather permitting – which it usually does on Colorado’s Front Range – Courtney enjoys playing tennis and golf and the occasional hike in the mountains.

Peggy is Summit Accounting Solutions’ Senior Accountant and heads up the accounting and income tax services. Her experience and dedication to ongoing training in both Corporate and Personal tax law provide for the very best in tax preparation and recommendations in tax savings. Peggy was born and raised in Rapid City, South Dakota. After moving to Colorado in 1987, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting at the University of Colorado-Denver. Peggy has three busy and talented children who keep her running between their many band and sports activities. She regularly participates in the Race for the Cure and enjoys hiking and reading.

Trish York has joined Summit Accounting Solutions as a Staff Accountant. She has over 15 years experience as an accountant. Trish received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado. Trish has a beautiful daughter who keeps her running with her many school activities and sports. She enjoys her family time, most outdoor activities and she is always looking for something new to learn.
